For over thirty-two years, Renato has advised clients in cross-border transactions. Renato has also served on the boards of many bilateral and multilateral institutions. Renato \u200eis the Latin America Board Member of <a href=\"http:\/\/alliuris.com\/home-en\/members\/brasil\/singleview\/?tx_ttnews%5btt_news%5d=662&amp;cHash=fb2939b879715d1697fb6996d3bf20f1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alliuris<\/a>, an International Association comprising of more than five hundred business lawyers from twenty-five countries across Europe, Asia and the Americas. In addition, he is Vice-President of the China-based <a href=\"http:\/\/www.yingkeinternational.com\/office\/brazil\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global Yingke Alliance<\/a>, an alliance of more than twelve thousand lawyers worldwide. In 2012, Renato was appointed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.consuladosueciasp.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Swedish Honorary Consul<\/a> by His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnst.com.br\/en\/eventos-en\/renato-pacheco-neto-was-awarded-the-royal-order-of-the-polar-star-by-the-king-and-queen-of-sweden\/\">awarded at the Royal Palace in Stockholm in 2019<\/a> the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kungahuset.se\/royalcourt\/monarchytheroyalcourt\/orders\/theorderofthepolarstar.4.396160511584257f2180005711.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Royal Order of the Polar Star<\/a> by His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustav and Her Majesty Queen Silvia of Sweden in recognition of his important and tireless efforts together with his team to promote the Sweden-Brazil bilateral relations. On March 12th, 2020 he was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pnst.com.br\/eventos\/abertura-do-ano-judiciario-2020-do-trt\/\">awarded by the President of the Federal Labor Higher Court of Campinas &#8211; TRT15<\/a>, the highest prize of the Major Judicial Merits Necklace. Fluent in several Germanic languages (English included), Latin and Nordic languages, Renato also retains a working knowledge of Mandarin and Russian. Renato is a graduate of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.direito.usp.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">USP Law School<\/a> and obtained a binational Ph.D. qualification at Paris I-USP in 2001. He holds post-graduate degrees in law and executive education in business and economics from <a href=\"http:\/\/portal.fgv.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">FGV<\/a> (PEC EAESP) as well as from other countries, including <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aalto.fi\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Finland<\/a> (GMP Aalto &#8211; Kauppakorkeakoulu), <a href=\"http:\/\/www.univ-paris1.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">France<\/a> (D.E.A. Paris I Sorbonne, D.S.U. Paris II Assas), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-bielefeld.de\/fakultaeten\/rechtswissenschaft\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Germany<\/a> (LL.M. Bielefeld, FNSt Scholar, Freiburg\u00a0 DAAD Scholar), <a href=\"http:\/\/law.leidenuniv.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Netherlands<\/a> (ITC Leiden), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hhs.se\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sweden<\/a> (EMP IFL Handels HHS Stockholm) and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.law.harvard.edu\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">United States<\/a> (LLF Harvard Law School).
