Hugo Snobohm Hartzell

Hugo Snobohm Hartzell is a Swedish business lawyer dedicated to building bridges between the Nordics and Brazil. He holds an LL.M. from Stockholm University and has also studied at FGV Direito in Rio de Janeiro. Hugo is currently in the process of registering as a Consultant  in Foreign Law  before the SP Section of the Brazilian Bar ( OAB ). At PNST, Hugo took part in launching the firm’s Nordic Desk, and collaborates with it working with Swedish companies that are expanding to, investing in, or doing business in Brazil. He offers cultural fluency, has a nuanced understanding of Nordic business practices, and challenges foreign groups face locally. Hugo has previous experience from leading Swedish law firms and in companies operating across energy, telecom, and fintech. Hugo is seasoned in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating cross-border commercial contracts. He has extensive experience in regulatory matters covering tech law (data protection and AI), international trade, and fintech. A native Swedish speaker,  fluent in English, Portuguese and conversant in Spanish.
